The skies were perfect blue and filled with inviting marshmallow clouds, and Miri sighed as she looked up to them. But despite her desperate wishing, her feet stayed stuck to the ground. She stood at the bus stop nearest her apartment, backpack slung over one shoulder and purse over the other.
